BamSliZ: eLDee in major merger deal with Iman Entertainment

Great stuff happening – Nigerian rapper-singer and producer Lanre ‘eLDee’ Dabiri has merged his Trybe Records record label with an African independent entertainment company IMAN.

‘eLDee and his team have done an impressive job of nurturing these creative elements that have created significant value and presence in the industry. We are pleased to bring these talents and their assets to IMAN Entertainment’.

We’re told the IMAN-Trybe partnership will be structured into four divisions – Trybe Records, Trybe Productions, IMAN One and IMAN Studios. eLDee will over talent development and management division of the merger.

‘We are bringing together two powerful entertainment brands to establish a commanding position in the Nigerian Music industry, strengthening our global distribution infrastructure and creating a scalable platform that will result in significant and accretive benefits to all parties involved’, eLDee said in a statement made available to Bam!

Trybe Records has been in existence since 1998. It is one of Nigeria’s leading record labels with over 13 years’ experience in Nigeria. The company has produced over 20 artistes including the likes of Sasha, 2shotz, and Dr SID. eLDee recently presented his Da Trybe 2.0 squad comprising of himself, producers Sheyman and Sarz and new acts Sojay and K9.
